The other week, we were up to the next stage of moving - selling my car. My husband and I went on a date, planning to meet the prospective buyer in the afternoon. Then when we came out of the mall, we discovered someone had done a hit and run on the very car we had been planning to sell... and of course, they'd left no trace of themselves. Sigh. Anyway, we've sold one of our cars now, and the other one - for obvious reasons - is at the repairers.
Our items have arrived in Australia, where customs has asked the first question - about my sword. I'm hoping they'll remember the department of home affairs allows traditional swords into the country, but in case they don't, I've gently reminded them.
In the midst of all this, my publisher is aiming for a January release date of my fifth book. I'm looking forward to this, although it is involving some work on my side to make sure things are ready. There's heaps to keep track of in this time.
If you want to make sure you're not forgotten in the middle of all this chaos, subscribe yourself to my newsletter, where you'll hear swiftly about the release when it happens. If you've already subscribed yourself, thanks!
In the meantime, tally-ho! And hopefully things continue to track in a positive direction...
